Fill the Dome

Posted on Monday, November 12th, 2012 by

I’m pretty sure I blogged about this last year or the year before, but it’s so important, I have to do it again! Every year around the FM area, students gather food and money to help out the local food banks. A few years ago, it all started because the local food banks talked about closing – they just didn’t have the resources to stay open.  So, a few students got together and said no way, that can’t happen! And thus, Fill the Dome was formed. The goal is to fill the Fargo Dome floor with non-perishable goods, and every year is a huge success.

Concordia’s student government is collecting canned goods in the atrium on through the 16th of November, so be sure to stop on by! Every little bit helps, and it’s so important to give back to the community. I absolutely love Fill the Dome, and I’m glad that Concordia takes part in helping out. It’s truly one of the best things I’ve ever been a part of.
