Coaching Soccer

My coaching contract.

My coaching contract.

I haven’t been able to find an internship yet, but I did land a job coaching soccer this summer which was nice. I’ve known for awhile that I wanted to get involved coaching soccer, but I hadn’t actively sought out to start until now. Its typical for coaches for any sport to start with younger kids, and I will be starting with the U10 boys at the Tri-City Storm Soccer Club. I’ll be working with two friends and teammates, Sage Thornbrugh and Ben Vuicich. The team will be practicing three times a week, and traveling to three tournaments as well. I’m pretty excited to get a start with coaching and look forward to meeting the team and working to help them with the help of my friends too. Regardless or what job or internship I end up getting this summer, I know that I will have coaching to look forward to which is comforting. I have to fill out an official contract before I can begin, which isn’t hard but feels sort of strange to do. I don’t feel “adult” enough for something like that but it’s not really that big of a deal. The coaching will start before classes are done, so I’m excited to transition into that.
