April Fools Dinner

Our half and half pizza.

Our half and half pizza.

This year for April Fools day, I didn’t try any pranks or crack any jokes. It was a pretty mellow day as far as April Fools days go. What I did do, is go out for a dinner with Emily. We decided to go to Rhombus Guys in Downtown Fargo. If you read my previous blog about Rhombus Guys, you know that I have a very high opinion about it and enjoy their pizza a lot. Well second time around it surely didn’t disappoint either. Emily really loved the creamy Alfredo pizza she got the first time we were there, and opted to get it again. I was going to go with the flow and eat it as well so we could just share one larger pizza rather than get two smaller ones. We had one of my friends who used to play on the Concordia Women’s soccer team as a waitress, and she told me that would could get a larger pizza half and half with two flavors. This is obviously a huge game changer, not that I have anything against the Alfredo pizza- it’s actually quite good. I decided to go with my half the pizza being a “Girlfriend Diavolo”, which has spicy marina sauce, chicken, jalapenos, and pineapples. We both enjoyed the pizza thoroughly, and will probably use the split pizza method next time we come as well.
