Chelsea v AC Milan

image1I recently saw on Twitter that Chelsea and AC Milan would be playing a game at the new U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. The game is being sponsored by the International Champions Cup. This is very exciting news, as one rarely gets to see European professional soccer teams play across the sea, let alone in Minnesota. The game is scheduled for August 3rd, and I believe will be the first sporting event ever held in the U.S. Bank stadium, which is kind of neat to think about. When I found out the news, I shared it with my roommates as well. Two are Chelsea fans which is especially relevant, but for the one who isn’t he, much like myself, is juts interested in seeing some top level soccer played. Pre-sale tickets go on sale this next Tuesday, and I plan on hopefully getting my tickets then. Sage and I plan on both bringing our girlfriends to the game and will try to get seats next to one another if at all possible. While it’s still a few months away, I look forward to hopefully attending the game. While I was in London with the Concordia College Men’s soccer team, we had the pleasure of watching a Chelsea preseason game and we all had a blast.
