There is one week that I have been looking forward to ever since I was a freshmen. A day where I officially join the “Concordia Cult” and a day my wallet hates me forever.  Guess what week it is on campus! It’s Cobber ring time!

This week I officially ordered my Cobber ring! I feel that I am now officially apart of the everlasting community. The majority of Cobbers current and alumni are wearing their ring. It’s a piece of this wonderful place that sticks with us forever. Yes, it does cost a small fortune but the pride that comes with it is priceless.

Buying my Cobber ring brought an overwhelming amount of emotions, good and actually even scary. Ordering my ring means that I am already a junior. Where has time gone!

My name is Katie Englund and I am from Lakeville, Minn.

Words cannot explain how excited I am to be at Concordia! I plan to major in elementary education and minor in special education. I am a part of the class of 2015!

I love locking myself in my room and playing my acoustic guitar for hours. I have a weird obsession with cowboy boots. I wear them with everything. I have the best family in the entire world, and would be nothing without them. I’m also involved in Campus Entertainment Committee (CEC). I work at Cobber Kids Preschool as well as with Concordia’s America Reads foundation!
