Daily Caribou Breaks!

Posted on Tuesday, January 21st, 2014 by Kallie Eberling

I’ve never been much of a coffee drinker. I’m not a huge fan of chocolate (or hot chocolate for this matter). And also, I don’t really drink pop. This usually seems to leave me with only drinking water. This definitely isn’t a bad thing, but recently, I think I’ve found my version of coffee.

The other day, my friend and I decided to go to Caribou Coffee. He ordered a fancy coffee type drink, and I had decided to get hot chocolate since I thought it was at least better than coffee. When I ordered my coffee the woman asked if I wanted milk, dark, or white. At first I was confused because I had never really heard of white hot chocolate. I decided to try it and boy am I happy I did!

As I sit here typing, I am sipping on my second white hot chocolate of the day. I have tried both Starbucks and Caribou white hot chocolate and concluded that the Caribou is the better version. Thankfully, we have our own little Caribou Coffee Shop right here on campus! It makes for the perfect pit stop while rushing to class, especially because you can use your dining plan dollars at it!

Now to find an at home recipe!

Cheers Kal! I guess I will have to put more money on your dining dollar plan! Haha!

Hi! My name is Kallie Eberling. I’m excited to be continuing my education this year at Concordia! I have finally decided, after changing my mind multiple times, on an English Education major. I hope to obtain a minor in Political Science, and I am thinking about law school upon graduation.

I’m from the small town of Plentywood, Montana. It’s located about 10 minutes from Canada and 15 minutes from North Dakota. We only have one stoplight, but we are the biggest town in our county!

At Concordia, I am involved in the forensics team and various clubs. I participate in policy debate in forensics, and really enjoy it!

I’m happy to share my experience here at Concordia, and I hope you can find some useful tips from my blog!
