It’s just starting to hit me!

So close!

So close!

As most of you know, since I talk, blog, and post about it frequently, I am going on a May seminar in a few short months. Regardless of my incessant chatter, it really only just hit me that I will be gone from home and in Europe for an entire month! I started working out some of the details with my parents over break. I have started collecting and buying necessary items for my trip and it’s making me excited! We also recently got our tentative itinerary for the entire trip and I was excited to learn that we will be in Prague on my birthday! Out of all the countries we are visiting, I am the most excited to go to Prague. Most people don’t “dream” of going to Prague, but I have heard from people who have visited that it is one of the most beautiful places they have ever seen. The next few weeks, I will be figuring out what I’m going to pack, how I’m going to pack it, and what I want to do on my free days! It’s kinda scary that I am so close and yet I don’t feel like I have everything ready to go yet! I’m bravely hoping to only bring a carry-on and not have a checked bag. We’ll see how that goes!

Hello, there! I’m Kelsey Rausch and I am an English Education major from Elk River, Minnesota. It is my hope that I will be able to do extraordinary things with my life and I think I chose the right college to help me make an impact on people’s lives. I have some serious Cobber pride and couldn’t be more in love with this amazing college! I love music in every way that it can be taken in, whether that be listening, collecting, watching, or performing. I’d like to think I have great taste in music and I love connecting with people over a shared interest in music. I’m always up for an adventure and trying new things. I’m (apparently) very awful at telling stories, so I have to have crazy adventures to talk about to make up for my lack of ability. I am always in search of good books to read and I am grateful for God, who has blessed me with so much.
