It is not monday…

FullSizeRenderClasses started today! I was so excited and ready for class today that I woke up a full hour ahead of time (7:30am) so I could actually look decent and just take my time in the morning! By 8am, I was ready to go, so I decided to make myself a little breakfast and coffee so I would be refreshed and awake for class. When my phone buzzed in my pocket, I thought it a little funny that someone other than my mom would text me so early in the morning. I looked at the message from  my fellow English Ed. major Matt and was extremely confused as to why he was asking about my whereabouts. His message simply said, “Where are you?” To which I gave the sassy reply, “Uh…class doesn’t start until 8:30?” 10 seconds after I pressed send, I realized I had made a grave mistake. Today is tuesday. It is not Monday. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, classes begin at 8am…not 8:30am. I looked at the time and saw that it was already 8:05, so I ditched my coffee on the Keurig and my bread in the toaster and took off running towards Olin. I managed to only be about 10 minutes late, but I was without coffee and sustenance and that was the big bummer. Plus, the snickers of all the other English Ed majors made my entrance to the classroom even better!

Hello, there! I’m Kelsey Rausch and I am an English Education major from Elk River, Minnesota. It is my hope that I will be able to do extraordinary things with my life and I think I chose the right college to help me make an impact on people’s lives. I have some serious Cobber pride and couldn’t be more in love with this amazing college! I love music in every way that it can be taken in, whether that be listening, collecting, watching, or performing. I’d like to think I have great taste in music and I love connecting with people over a shared interest in music. I’m always up for an adventure and trying new things. I’m (apparently) very awful at telling stories, so I have to have crazy adventures to talk about to make up for my lack of ability. I am always in search of good books to read and I am grateful for God, who has blessed me with so much.
