Sam Fouts and Pastor Ellie created the group out of the desire to have music sung at the evening service. Sam took the lead in finding many singers to fill all of the parts. The group is made up of eight to ten singers per part. With Sam’s

recent travel to Europe, the music has been influenced by all of the new music he has been exposed to. The group will be singing music from composers such as F. Melius Christiansen, Sir John Stainer, Olaf C. Christiansen and one of Concordia’s own Emily Feld.

Spending time with a group of musicians who are dedicated to the music and singing well has been great. I personally have enjoyed working with these students and look forward to performing with them this evening. Tonight’s performance is at 9:00 p.m. in the Centrum on Concordia’s campus. Please feel free to join in. We are hoping for a good crowd and we look forward to singing for you and many other students and faculty members.
